TEMPORARY RELOCATION: Totnes Town Council is temporarily relocating the defibrillator in the Market Square for a few weeks in March.
We need to slightly move the defibrillator whilst South Hams District Council carry out maintenance work on the steps that lead up to the Civic Hall as this area will be cordoned off. As a temporary measure, an additional box will be mounted on the wall just around the corner from the existing box (as indicated by the red arrow in the photo). By doing this we can ensure the defibrillator can still be easily accessed during an emergency.
The work on the Civic Hall steps is scheduled to start in early March and run for a few weeks. Once South Hams District Council has completed the works, our Town Maintenance Officer will return the defibrillator to its original position.
